I first met the team from LEAPS when they hosted PADDLE FOR THE PAW fund raiser at THE SUP CLUB CAPE TOWN , and have been following the great work they’ve been doing in the community of lamberts Bay, Elands Bay and Vredenburg. LEAPS is not a physical shelter, all their rescues are in foster homes around Cape Town.
This Sunday (29 January) is ADOPTION DAY at Kirstenbosch Craft Market and volunteers are needed to help look after the doggies. If you can assist, please get hold of Jolene on 082 447 8866 .
Please spread the word to help these furries find their forever homes!
LEAPS – THE STORY:
To date, LEAPS have spayed over 3000 animals in Lamberts Bay, Elands Bay and Vredenburg combined, as well as assisting other surrounding towns with medical assistance and manpower for spayathons in their areas. They have also been involved in education programmes for school children and adults aimed at better caring for their pets.
